ROBOT PAINT SHOP APPLICATION FOR PRIMER COAT & TOP COAT
In this project 2 robots are used for painting application one is PRIMER COAT and another one is TOP COAT. Network Architecture of the Entire hardware system was based on the PROFINET and Star Topology is used. Entire Automatic Sequence of Robot operation is controlled by the installed S7 1500 PLC and to Monitor the process HMI’s are given at the operator accessible area inside the paint shop. Integration of Robot PLC is done with Customer PLC with the help of PN/PN Coupler which handshakes robot Program Parameters, Color Code from Customer PLC to Robot PLC. Safety parameters of the Robot PLC Panel are linked with the customer PLC panel through Hardwired Signals. Safety relays are used with Emergency Stop Pushbutton at Entry, Exit, Operator and Robot Door area, which is electrically wired with robot controller to ensure safety and immediate stop of application in case of emergency. Potential barrier are used for the sensors within the paint application area to ensure safety during emergency situation.
